Letter from Dr. Roles

To our patients,

Susie and I have been blessed to be a part of your life over the last 40 years. Your hearts are important to us, and we have treasured your trust in us and doing life with us. You are and have been a treasure.

We were quite young when we started in 1983. Green Valley was mostly dirt. Things have truly changed over the years…. but one thing has remained constant. We have the best patients in the world!

Susie and I have reached that time in our lives where we are feeling the pull of our grandchildren, Teagan, age 6, and Fallon, age 4. We have decided to step into the next season of our lives and retire from Green Valley Chiropractic & Wellness Center.

For many years I have prayed and dreamed for the opportunity to “hand over the reigns” of Green Valley Chiropractic & Wellness Center to a doctor who shares the same compassion for people as we do and has the skills of an excellent physician and Chiropractor.

I found him…. His name is Dr. Shawn Larkin, a native of Las Vegas, and a seasoned doctor of eight years in practice.

He is a great adjuster. I have enjoyed personally being adjusted by him. He has great hands…. and a big heart. He is very friendly, easy to relate to and will put your personal concerns up front. You are in good hands.

His wife, Allyson, also a native of Las Vegas, is an integral of part of the new team and will place your needs up front and center.

I would like to take this time to thank my amazing wife, Susie. She has been my rock and a joy to have in the clinic by my side. Her work ethic, passion, laughter, and ability to connect to the hearts of patients has been a fuel for our practice. Thank you my beautiful for everything.

It is my number one priority to ensure a smooth transition. If you have any questions about your care, please do not hesitate to reach out. My last formal day in the office will be Wednesday, August 3. After this day, if you would like to still connect with me, please communicate through Dr. Larkin’s staff. They will help you.

It has been my passion to serve you, always, with the best care possible. I am certain Dr. Larkin brings that same passion to serve you.

Dr. Shawn Larkin
Green Valley Chiropractic & Wellness Center

Shawn is a Las Vegas/Henderson native, born and raised in the area. He is married to Allyson, who is also a born and raised native, and they have three children. Shawn graduated from UNLV in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He obtained his Chiropractic training and education in San Jose, California at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Shawn returned to Southern Nevada where he has been practicing chiropractic medicine since 2015.

Shawn is a graduate from Green Valley High School. He loves Las Vegas and Henderson. His family has a rich history in the valley dating back to 1936 when Dr. Larkin’s grandfather founded Larkin Plumbing. We all remember, and still see today, the familiar yellow Larkin trucks serving the valley.

When not working, Shawn spends time with his family outdoors riding his off-road vehicles and attending dance recitals or soccer games with his children.

Shawn loves connecting with his patients and helping them attain a higher quality of life, pain free. He enjoys applying science and medicine to the treatment of his patients with the objective of improving health and performance.

In Dr. Larkin’s own words, he states, “It’s an honor to carry on the tradition of Green Valley Chiropractic & Wellness Center. To continue to serve the community Dr Roles has spent the last 40 years serving. My desire it to provide exceptional care to our patients and be an asset to the community that I grew up in. I am committed to becoming the doctor Dr. Roles’ is and to gain your trust. I look forward to meeting each one of you and am eager to help you in any way I can.

 

You can see why I am so happy…. You are truly in good hands with Dr. Larkin.
